Chronic Absenteeism - Data shows the Chronic information for All Students who were at the Schools for at least 10 Days. The Kentucky Department of Education defines a student as being chronically absent if he or she is present 90% or less of full-time equivalency (FTE). Chronic absenteeism is calculated by dividing a student’s FTE present minutes by FTE instructional minutes and rounding to the nearest whole percent. A student must be enrolled for 10 or more days.
