Why Measure School Climate and Culture? A Positive School Climate/Culture is related to: Higher Student Engagement, Higher Academic Achievement, Fewer Discipline Problems, Lower Levels of Alcohol and Drug Use, and Lower Absenteeism.
A short version of the JCPS Comprehensive School Survey (CSS) for all staff was commissioned by Superintendent, Dr. Marty Pollio, in the Fall of 2017.
These results are combined responses from all staff to holistically gauge the school climate and culture in JCPS.
